THE RAGGED PREIST FEAT. O MIGHTY

[Coatigan - The Ragged Preist]
[Top - O-Mighty]
[Jeans - Levi]
[Shoes - Topshop]
[Sunglasses - Boohoo.com]
[Septum Ring - Ebay]

Sorry again I haven't posted in a while I've been working all hours god sends to earn some money for my trip to London next weekend! I'm going to try and post as much as possible before London this week and then whilst i'm in London too.

For this outfit I wanted to show off my new coatigan from The Ragged Priest it's in the sale reduced from £90 to £30 which I thought was REALLY good and had too. (Mainly because I couldn't afford the Lovers and Drifters one as they're like £100+) This one is long too so it will be great for autumn/winter and is all snuggly! I paired with my "Just Fuck It" halter neck top from O - Mighty because I haven't found a time to wear it yet and I personally really love it! (also comes in black with white writing)

As my jacket was from The Ragged Priest I wanted my jeans to be as well but I couldn't get some in time for this styling so I had to make do with what I had. Using a pair of my old Levi jeans I picked up for £1 at a charity shop I got jiggy with the scissors and had a go myself, they should get better and fray a lot more every time they're washed, but for the first time wear I don't think they're too bad. The cutting didn't take long, I just googled what a pair looked like (even though I had a rough idea in my head I wanted to clarify) I wanted to fray the part at the top which looks like shorts a bit more but my fingers were hurting by this point because fraying jeans in all ways is time consuming and frustrating, especially when the washer can do it on its own!
How adorable are my new sunnies by the way? I LOVE them! £2 only from Boohoo.com and with all the postage deals they do, getting them to you can be super cheap! I was quite unsure about buying sunglasses that weren't black because sunglasses always look great in black but I took a chance and it paid off they actually go with my hair too which is a bonus.

And finally my lovely Topshop shoes.. Great amazing lovely shoes, BUT I had to get 2 sizes bigger than I usually am to fit in them. A size 8 was the only 1 that would fit me properly which I am very sad about but then again nobody can see the size when they're on your feet! Another thing is the fact the top band strap is not very comfy and puts a lot of stress on that part of the foot and makes it painful if you wear them for too long. I wore them for a night out and when I got home my feet felt bruised, like REALLY bruised. It doesn't stop me from wearing them though because I love them and when you've only paid £13.50 for them you can't really complain can you! (even though I kind of just have)

In conclusion though, this outfit may make it onto the 'take to London' list for the weekend! :)

Feel free to comment and hope you enjoyed reading my post

MY GUIDE TO BEING THE PERFECT BARGAIN HUNTER/THRIFT/CHARITY SHOP SHOPPER

In a previous post I said I was going to write a short "guide" into bargain hunting as I am a huge bargain lover! Even if nobody is interested in how I find all my bargains I would love to help the small few out that are interested. If you've read or wanted to read more on my blog you can see just a small amount of the huge number of things I have bought cheap some as little as 50p! It's a great thing really. I love the feeling when I have got something I really like for a great price because I am such a shopping addict and if I paid for everything full price I would be in SO much debt right now!

So my first point would be to do research - even though it's only shopping and meant to be fun, bargain hunting is a whole new league of shopping, it could even be a sport, I swear. Look into kinds of designers and styles you really like the look of. Everyone knows of certain designers/looks they want, for example my favourite designers are Vivienne Westwood and Moschino and I love 90's and 80's clothing so between them 4 things I can find so many things I want/like!

My next point would be know your area - Go explore your town/city, know where the charity shops are and what charity shops are the best for what you want! There are so many charity shops in Hull and around but some just aren't as good as others. My favourite ones as some may know is one is down Holderness road which is quite near my house really, it's not a wealthy area which is usually not helpful when looking in charity shops but I love the items I find down there! There are some more dotted around Hull that I frequently look in and get good things from. So go around an explore as much as you can!

Are there any markets in your area? - Google markets in your local towns, car boots on Sundays? It's an early day but it can bring a lot of bargains! I regularly go to Walton Street Market on Wednesdays and have come hope with SO many cheap clothes! I've come home with YRU, Motel, Nike and loads more! Even with food I managed to get 42 bags of crisps (seabrook ones too) for £1 and I'm still getting through them now! Some things you get from markets are just so good! and if you're looking to sell things too markets are a good place to go as well!

eBay never fails - eBay and Aliexpress is my absolute angel. Not so much Aliexpress at the moment because my things are taking too long to arrive but some things you can get from China for SO cheap, I got a gold skull septum ring( fake one) for 1p including postage. If you choose the option of cheapest first when searching in eBay and have the patience to wait then you're on a roll, I have got so much stuff for cheap from there by searching with the cheapest first option! I got a lilac velvet motel dress on eBay for 99p which was great! but you have to regularly search your favourite brands in eBay like at least every couple of days to see what people are putting up, I search Moschino like so many times and got myself a gorgeous pair of jeans for quite cheap! Although be carful with designers as some people on there like everywhere sell fakes and nobody wants that!

Take a trip into the City as many times as possible - So many secret deals happen in shops and not online, it's so easy for people to just shop online and shops need people to go in the actual shops, this means there's more chance of there being better offers in- store than online! I wanted a pair of shoes from Topshop and I saw them in London for £35 in the Oxford Street store but they wasn't online! I then went home and in my store in Hull they were £15 a few weeks later when I went in. It was a great moment because I love these shoes and I got an extra £20 off!  I also work in Primark so I am one of the first to see their sales and some times they have such GREAT ONES! its fab! Such simple stuff and so cheap. Primark don't all the time have good sale items but some times there are some gems! I have had millions. In Germany I managed to grab a pair of pointy stilettos in holographic for €3 which is like £2.36 and they're still  £12 full price here. I know Germany is a bit far to travel for bargains but if you're there already why not...

TKMAXX is King! - Looking for designer stuff cheap then TKMAXX is your place to go! They have some super gems in there but each store has different stuff so it is very hit and miss! I've had good luck there though with both high street and designer clothes. I managed to get some gorgeous flares for about £3 from there and also some Moschino sunglasses, a Vivienne Westwood handbag, Jeffrey Campbell shoes and lots more things, makeup included. Even though the things in TKMAXX are a few seasons behind it's still great for the money because of how cheap it is, especially if it's in the sale!

Faulty items not all bad.... - Have a sewing machine? Sometimes (NOT ALL) faulty items are a REALLY good way of getting a good deal. Shops nowadays will do discounts for things as little as a small makeup stain which will obviously easily come out in the wash with a bit of ACE bleach ( not real bleach just the name of my favourite stain remover ) and some times a few sequins hanging off or a tiny FIXABLE hole, £££ can be saved if you have the time and patience to fix these things because the shops won't be able to do much with it if its faulty and people don't buy the item. I went to my leaving dinner in 2013 with a AMAZING topshop full length gown head to toe sequins with a side split (best dress ever) and it retailed at £96 but down the seam it had a split down it about 4 inches long and it had being reduced but as no one bought it, it kept getting reduced, reduced and even further reduced, finally when it came to me (my mum) buying it for my leaving dinner it was only £24 and thats just because someone didn't have the time or patience just to sew 4 inches back together. It took me and my mum literally 10 minutes if that due to the material to fix it and on the night the amount of compliments I got in that dress was totally worth more than the £24 we paid for it.  Sorry for the terrible photo but this is the lovely dress! and looked better in real life!

Charity shops do change their stock GO VISIT - Don't be afraid to visit your local charity shops because they're always loaded with goodies, my favourite one is a discount shop so nothing is more than £2 including coats, shoes, bags, clothes, etc. which is absolutely amazing especially if there are things you want, and every- time I go in they have new things. Like I don't think that there has ever been a time that they have the same stock in from another day I have been in which I think is amazing and unlike most shops, and by most i mean ALL!

and my final and most important point is.... BE PREPARED TO RUMMAGE - if you want to be a bargain queen like myself you have to be passionate about it, you have to LOVE cheapness and really get a buzz from finding one or it's just not worth it. If you're that kind of person who's like oh I CBA to wait 2 weeks for my £3 item I'd rather pay £20 and get it in 3 days, then bargain hunting is not for you. I can spend SO long looking in shops traipsing round taking a good luck at absolutely everything (especially when a sale is on I have a field day) Today I was in TKMAXX for a good 1 hour and a half searching through everything as they only really have one of everything so you have to look through everything because if you miss that 1 thing it could have been the bargain you was looking for! Annoying right? I think I may just be too addicted into bargain hunting! but yeah be prepared to have to spend a long time doing it, it is a very time consuming process I won't lie but once you get good at it, like anything it's worth it in the end and may I mention, TOTALLY ADDICTIVE!

Thanks for reading, I do hope this helps any of you who wants to bargain hunt out there and if you get some bargains and blog about them please tell me about it I LOVE to hear bargain stories!

SUMMER MAXI DRESS FEATURING NEW VIVIENNE WESTWOOD

[Dress - Walton Street Market]
[Shoes - Topshop]
[Head Chain - Primark]
[Handbag - Vivienne Westwood]
[Belt - Primark]
[Necklace - Tatty Devine]
[Sunglasses - Primark]

I just did this outfit post on a wim as I need to get back into regular posting which is easier said than done at the moment because of my hectic work life! I don't think I've shown off this dress at the yet but I don't know why because it's so lush! I managed to get it from market for £2 and it's worth a lot more than that, it has a cute black and white pattern on it and I JUST LOVE. I like that the pattern on this dress goes vertical too because it is meant to elongate you and make you look that little bit taller and thinner, which from these photos I think is a lie because I still look short and plumpy! but each to their own. Much rather them go vertical than horizontal as apparently they make you look wider, but I definitely don't need to look any wider so I stay away from them as much as possible, especially on tight things!

Please excuse the bad photos, they're not my finest ones I shall be on top form soon especially when  I can get back into exercising after my back problems and can feel and look thinner! I still wanted to post this post because of the outfit I really like it and I apologise again that it's not my best post!

Thanks for reading this short post and please bare with me I will be back soon!!

PEACE

THE NEW VINTAGE ORANGE SUIT... MY COLOUR? HELP!

So today I visited my favourite Age UK charity shop today down Holderness Road in Hull and discovered this beauty! I've been looking recently in places like Topshop and Zara for casual/nice looking trousers and jacket suits, I've seen some nice ones really but the price of some are a bit off putting, especially with how fast fashion is nowadays and how my job/student loan is the tiniest thing ever. Anyone else in my shoes will understand my frustration at the fact there is so many nice clothes out there but when you have no money to cover it or even if you do, the fact you have to ration what you can buy per month is so off putting! I WISH LIKE EVERYONE THAT MONEY GREW ON TREES!
but back to today's find, I spent a whole £4.50 in the charity shop today on 5 items in total! I was able to get a baby pink adidas top, a Dolce and Gabanna top, a 90's sequin style strappy top and this two piece suit! All the tops we're £1 and the suit was £1.50.  I will post photos of the other things I bought today in another post when I have found out what I can style them with! But nevertheless an absolute bargain if I do say so myself. Oh and to top it off I went to the shop around the corner and got a almost brand new pair of lilac converse for £5! FIVE POUNDS! yep thats exactly what I thought too!

I just styled this suit with a simple black cami as I don't intend on taking it off when it's worn as it's quite thin which is a good thing for summer! To match my black cami these gorgeous black flatform slip ons fro Topshop work perfectly with the short legged trousers! and they're now in the sale only £15!! I would recommend getting a size or 2 bigger though because of they style, I had to get a size 8! Odd I know as I am only a size 6 but an 8! damn! but still they look uber lovely on my tootsies!

I am unsure if it goes with my back to blue hair! but I aren't sure I mind too much because I just love the suit and it's so comfy! Also it just proves how amazing charity shops can be! As I say I will be posting more about the other items I bought in another post so keep your eyes peeled!!

Feel free to comment!

THE DAY I GOT A NEW VIVIENNE WESTWOOD BAG AND MORE

So yesterday was a great day for me! First Jordan didn't go to work so I didn't have to sit on my own till he had finished so we went to do a spot of shopping in the town of Braunschweig which is great if anyone's wondering!!

We found a lift in the New Yorker shop which was like a night club dance floor, it was literally just fully lit up in rainbow colours! It wasn't as good on photographs as it was in real life obviously! Although that was the best thing about the New Yorker shop because the rest was a bit rubbish, it reminded me a bit of Primark/h&m but a version that wasn't as good as either of them, I don't know I wasn't impressed!

we then went to get some post cards to send home and came across these, which are sweet cones and when a german child starts school they get one of these full of sweets and they're really big! As my grandad is German he got my mum and aunties them when they started in school even though they were in England because it's a German tradition! I wish they did it here! Or at least I wish my mum did it for me when I stated school! They're so colourful!

And then the good bit... I went to TKmaxx and was overwhelmed to see 3 Vivienne Westwood bags! some moschino ones also and Versace too! I was in ore! I could have spent up! I had to treat myself for being so brave to get on the plane here as I hadn't been on one before until last week!
They were all the same colour, (the vivs) and from the same collection but it was such a decision which one to get! In the end I got a small pink/peach handbag with chains, perfect for going out as I already have a bigger one for other occasions so I thought it was a great but and for only €87 in the sale which is £65 I couldn't say no really! It was love at first sight! But trust me if I had more baggage allowance on the plane i would have more than one right now!

Such an amazing bag I'm in love! Sad thing is I dropped it in the mud today.. Aren't I brilliant?!

I also visited the kiko Milano makeup shop which I've wanted to visit for ages but don't live near one! And when I last went to Leeds couldn't find it! So it was my ideal chance to get some stuff! I got a lovely light cream eyeshadow and a AMAZING pencil lip gloss in a sparkly brown colour it's very jazzy!

The brown lipstick comes out like this on this photo in case anyone was wondering and it's also colour number - 04

But to carry on the best day ever we had tomato and mozzarella for tea which is one of my favourite things to eat, along with other things of course! such as chorizo and nachos!

Me and Jordan then went to do international alcohol tasting in one of Jordan's friends room! And there were people there from, Finland, Hungary, Greece, Argentina, Slovina and some Mexicans joined later on! Some of the alcohols were disgusting but some surprisingly nice! I am awful with mixing drinks so was on my best behaviour. Also I knew Jordan would be in some kind words 'off his trolley', as was everyone there! It was a great night and one guy (marko) brought him donuts and I don't even like donuts but after a good few shots and more drinks I do!

The night was great and the company was really nice! Lovely people here couldn't fault them! Jordan picks his friends well and hopefully they like me too! I just hope this holiday in Germany stays this good! :D loving it so far!

Thanks for reading hope you enjoyed it

Peace!

HANNOVER ZOOOOOOO

After spending a full day recovering from the party and the fact that Germany isn't open on Sunday's, we decided on Monday we would get up early and go to the ZOO! I love zoos and animals so it was fab idea. After dragging ourselves out of the flat at 7:55 we got on the tram to the train station, then the train to Hannover and then the bus to the Hannover Zoo! We got there about half 9-ish.

The first animal we got to see was a zebra with some type of gazelle animal which was cute! I love the fact that no 2 zebras have the same stripes and that they're as unique as a human finger print!

The next animals that had the pleasure of meeting us was the Pelicans which were so funny! There was a moody one on its own and it was like me! The good thing about this enclosure is that you could go in it to get closer to them. Their beaks are massive, like so big! I was gobsmacked, I've only ever seen one in finding nemo!

Next we saw flamingos and they were so pretty and pink, but what I found funny was the fact they slept on 1 leg... How uncomfortable, I've never seen these before either so it was a nice surprise as they were so cute and quite delicate looking!

After that we went to visit the hippos! It was SO SO SO big, enormous even! (Sorry for the bad photos) but there were children everywhere shouting and screaming so as you can imagine I was huffing trying to get a photograph! But it was great to experience it all the same! We also found a pretty fish in the hippo tank.

Moving on further into the zoo we came across little meerkats and they had the smallest babies ever they were so cute! My heart melted! The little baby ones got abandoned at one point because a small child screamed and they all got scared but they came back to save them thank the Lord!

We then went on a short boat ride around a small section of the zoo which showed us the zebra again, flamingos, rhino (briefly) some other animals and a LOT of ducks and ducklings! We also had our photo taken on the boat which we weren't ready for as I was pulling the most horrendous face and I don't think Jordan was even looking anywhere within the vicinity of the camera! Fair to say we didn't buy it.

We then moved on the see the giraffes. These are one of my favourite animals because they're so oddly shaped! One started to come over to eat the food that was near us so we got super excited for that, because they're so long I loved it! Some days I wish I was a giraffe!

After being pushed out by an influx of children we moved on to the monkey encloser which included sloths! And other kinds of monkeys. But we didn't get to see gorillas because they were cleaning the enclosure which was sad! But still the orang-utan was the best because it was so fascinating watching it trying to use a stick to get itself leaves! It was so clever! As for the other one it was being miserable on the floor and hiding. It looked the saddest! And the sloth just itched itself the whole time I stood and watched it!

We then got the fab chance to see some lions which was great because they're so amazing looking like, they could kill me in a heart beat but still I love to look at them! The male came through a bit later and his mane was so cool! Loved them!

Some of the other animals we saw were baboons, turtles, wolves and Buffaloes! All I've never seen before which was an experience. Baboons bottoms are the ugliest thing ever! Turtles are funny watching to try to get out of the water! Wolves reminded me of twilight but they just looked nasty not even that cute! And the Buffaloes were SO BIG! huge!

NEXT we saw the polar bear. Oh my god it was amazing I loved every second in its presence it was like an honour, it was so elegant and literally was like the one that's in Narnia if anyone's ever seen it.. Amazing animal! It dived in the water from a great height and it was just so amazing. A moment l definitely remember for ever, seeing a polar bear!

After that we ate our dinner, we had 2 sandwiches, a paprika chicken and let the and a cheese and lettuce, not bad to say we didn't have much in for out packed lunches I think we did quite well as spontaneous as it was! I also found €5 on the floor which was great and to be used on ice cream later..

Luckily after we had finished our din dins we was able to go see a seal show! In German of course so I understood very little, I mean like I know some german language enough to gather what they're kind of talking about if I pay enough attention! But no it was amazing, not only did they have seals but they had raindeers and an eagle also! To tell a story it was a lovely thing to watch. The seals were so happy!

We also saw some penguins at that time too which were pretty cute! They were tiny, like the ones in Mary poppins!! We also got a chance to see these been fed by the keeper lady but one kept nipping her so she picked it up and put it away! also the ducks kept eating all the Penguins fish but what can you do it was a laugh and I had ice cream at this point!

Then we moved on to one of my favourite animals of all time the elephant and I was so excited because we got SO CLOSE! literally feet away! Amazing experience, we also got to see them being fed and they all got in the bath for a wash first and then had chance to eat their dinner after they had done a little trick it was super cute
We also couldn't resist having a photo with the statue elephant, it was as good as we were going to get!

Next we saw the tiger, but first time around it wasn't really in view so the photographs were rubbish so Jordan wanted to go back later to see if it had moved and are we glad we did! I got down great shots of this beauty it was amazing it kept coming near us.
My personal favourite was this photo because the tiger actually almost looked straight into the camera lens! This is now my phone background because I love it so much! We stayed with the tiger for such a long time! I think it was getting sick of us!

We then skidaddled after this and went to come back to the flat and have tea! It was a great day and a great idea of Jordan's I loved it so much, I've never been to a zoo like it and I'd go again and again! I hope to go again one day in the future and will always remember it because it was so good!

Thanks for reading this amazingly long post! Hope you enjoyed!

Peace!
