THE NEW VINTAGE ORANGE SUIT... MY COLOUR? HELP!

So today I visited my favourite Age UK charity shop today down Holderness Road in Hull and discovered this beauty! I've been looking recently in places like Topshop and Zara for casual/nice looking trousers and jacket suits, I've seen some nice ones really but the price of some are a bit off putting, especially with how fast fashion is nowadays and how my job/student loan is the tiniest thing ever. Anyone else in my shoes will understand my frustration at the fact there is so many nice clothes out there but when you have no money to cover it or even if you do, the fact you have to ration what you can buy per month is so off putting! I WISH LIKE EVERYONE THAT MONEY GREW ON TREES!
but back to today's find, I spent a whole £4.50 in the charity shop today on 5 items in total! I was able to get a baby pink adidas top, a Dolce and Gabanna top, a 90's sequin style strappy top and this two piece suit! All the tops we're £1 and the suit was £1.50.  I will post photos of the other things I bought today in another post when I have found out what I can style them with! But nevertheless an absolute bargain if I do say so myself. Oh and to top it off I went to the shop around the corner and got a almost brand new pair of lilac converse for £5! FIVE POUNDS! yep thats exactly what I thought too!

I just styled this suit with a simple black cami as I don't intend on taking it off when it's worn as it's quite thin which is a good thing for summer! To match my black cami these gorgeous black flatform slip ons fro Topshop work perfectly with the short legged trousers! and they're now in the sale only £15!! I would recommend getting a size or 2 bigger though because of they style, I had to get a size 8! Odd I know as I am only a size 6 but an 8! damn! but still they look uber lovely on my tootsies!

I am unsure if it goes with my back to blue hair! but I aren't sure I mind too much because I just love the suit and it's so comfy! Also it just proves how amazing charity shops can be! As I say I will be posting more about the other items I bought in another post so keep your eyes peeled!!

Feel free to comment!

PEACE!

TWO BIG VINTAGE BUYS! SUMMER GEMS

[Swimsuit - Vintage]
[Lilac Duster Coat - Age UK]
[Flatform Sliders - Primark]
[Necklace - Tatty Devine]
So as you may know on a Wednesday morning I like to go to Walton Street Market to see if I can get any bargains for summer and for my growing wardrobe! I went this Wednesday and my favourite stall/man wasn't even there which made me the MOST sad! So to cheer myself up I took a trip to my favourite charity shops and some of them in Hull have vintage sections which is so good! I found these bargains and I was so overwhelmed! This gorgeous vintage swimsuit was from the vintage part and omg took me by surprise, I didn't even take time to look at it or try it on, it was just love at first sight and I had to have it! It has an amazing plunge type neckline and a low back! It's also such a bright vibrant pattern, so this summer! Would look amazing with some shorts or even a cute black zip up bodycon skirt but mostly with some GORG velvet lace up shorts from somewhere like dolls kill! although right now they're all sold out! :(
As for the duster coat it was from my all time favourite charity shop which is the AGE UK discount shop on Holderness Road! NOTHING is more than £2 in there, whether it be shoes, bags, coats etc... AMAZING! and this little beauty was only £1.50 and I love it! I can't wait to take it to Germany with me next week! It's not coming off! I think it would compliment black skinny jeans perfectly with a nice white raglan or something similar it would be the cutest! even by the pool this little ensemble would be perfect!
I think I should literally be crowned Hull's biggest bargain queen! maybe even the UK's especially with clothes I seem to just find the bargains everywhere! Maybe it;s just the fact that Hull is so cheap for EVERYTHING!

Hope you love this outfit as much as I do and feel free to comment on what you think!
Thank you for reading!

PEACE!

MUMS HAVE THE BEST VINTAGE CLOTHES!

[Boots - Kurt Geiger]
[Sunglasses - Primark]
[Top - Vintage Shop]
[Flares - Boohoo.com]
[Jacket - Mum's Wardrobe]
[Necklace - Tatty Devine]
[Harness - eBay]

I've been loving my flares since last summer when I got the amazing Forever 21 black floral bells last summer but as they were just too big for me I had to sell and even though these flares are nothing on my last years ones I am still in love! They were only £6 or something stupid like that from boohoo.com it was a right bargain! As flares are a big thing this summer I thought I'd do another post that has them in, even though I did one earlier this year if you wanted to read more about them further down my blog!
The crochet top was a very good bargain (at the time as it doesn't really fit me and now is on my depop) it ties at the back and it halter-neck it's so pretty on but just doesn't suit me and is a bit small for me! But at the time couldn't resist! It was from a small vintage/boutique shop from Princes Quay in Hull (also came in camel and pink and camel and mint which were both lush too but I could only afford one :( [SAD LIFE OF A STUDENT] so if you want to buy this amazingly gorgeous top that doesn't fit me then head to my depop (annahodgson) and feel free to buy! :D

The main part of this blog post is this AMAZINGLY GORGEOUS black leather fringed biker jacket! It's my mums and she got it in 1988/89 and it's been all over on the back of my dad's motorbike, all over the UK and Germany too! (It's lasted longer than my dads motorbike!) I thought it complimented this outfit quite well especially when brands and shops at the moments are creating replicas of such jackets for this seasons fashion, having a real one from the 80's really is a lot better because not only does it have history thats older than me but when it's your favourite person on this earths jacket it really means something to you and makes you love it a lot more!

Finally my boots! I love them! Kurt Geiger block heeled boots, they're not the comfiest things ever but, who cares! they look good. These photos don't do them justice at all but I swear they are SO amazing! They should be, they cost enough! I wish I got to wear them more but after 2 hours my feet feel like they want to give up and go home without me and they aren't even high, like at all. how odd.
but I love them all the same!

Thank you for reading my blog and hope you like this styling

THE PEACH VINTAGE JEANS

I can't believe I haven't done a post about these jeans yet.. These are my favourite vintage jeans in a washed out orange colour, so washed out they're more of a peachy pink now! ]
I got them last year in a sale at a vintage shop called POORBOY BOUTIQUE which is a lovely vintage shop in Hull. My particular jeans were only £3! probably seems more astounding then it actually is as luckily Hull is one of the cheapest place to live in the UK.

Anyway back to the jeans.. who needs me blabbing on about where I live!
They're mom/slouchy jeans so they're as comfy as all hell and because they are preloved they are all broken in and snuggly! I know mom/slouchy jeans are not very flattering on some figures... LIKE MINE! but who cares I love a good pair of mom jeans!

I've paired my fabulous peach jeans with my new TOPSHOP body with star nips which I caught in the sale for £3 nothing like this ever fits me right because of my stupid oddly sized boobs which NOBODY wants if any one else has this problem.. I feel ya sista! and am always open to any help which makes it not as bad as it is so feel free to comment with any help!
I also have put in my YRU platform shoes which are gorgeous too, I just haven't got the gist of walking around on anything but totally flat ground yet!

Hope you enjoyed reading my short post feel free to comment and share! x

OO and PS the necklace and the belt are also from topshop! <3

OOTD.. FEAT The Ragged Priest, Nike and Adidas

Haven't had much chance to post my own style recently as I have been busy with uni work and finding a house for next year but today I finally found the time to do a quick shoot.

Todays outfit I thought would be quite casual as it's what I feel comfortable in, as every girl needs a black pair of skinnies, rain or shine.

My outfit today is my casual town outfit. I have paired a pair of DIY cold knee high waisted jeans with an acid wash cami from PRIMARK. The socks are also from PRIMARK (I have recently done a blog post about fishnet socks if you would check it out) and they are paired with my Adidas Superstars. Keeping my head warm in this coldish weather is my trusty the ragged priest hat in lilac which i LOVE as it is something that FINALLY goes with my hair colour. Finally my jacket was my bargain buy from Afflecks in Manchester only £9.99 vintage NIKE bomber shell jacket which is great because it's not too thick or thin so it will be perf for spring summer 15 and if it gets too warm can always wrap it around my waist!
On the profile shot I have two chokers on, one is a rainbow choker from Afflecks £2.50 and the other is a diamond 90's style chain choker necklace which was £1.50 from ASOS

I am always on the look out for new styles, I will try to test out more products and outfits. I have some makeup and other products to try out and do some blog posts on so keep an eye out.
Thank you for reading
