GOING ALL NUDE

[Dress - Primark (£13)]
[Shoes - Primark SALE (£3)]
[Bag - Primark SALE (£1)]

Perks of working on the returns desk is being able to grab the returns before they go back on the shop floor at the reduced price (if they've gone in the sale) So these gorg mules were a right bargain at £3! Even though they were slightly too big, I had to have them for £3 it just had to be done. Also a perk is seeing what comes into the store every week/ seeing if there is anything new, like this lovely nude/beige dress. Even though I feel like I look like a bag of spuds in it, it would look lovely on a night out! It was also a little big so it had to go back. Also the material was a put off because it's ever so easily stained which are quite hard to get out so it's not my favourite but is a lovely style dress!

I thought I would do some posts with some outfits with toned down colour to show some versatility and that I'm not a one trick pony when it comes to outfits and styling! Having blue/green hair though sometimes makes it a struggle when you're trying to go for the natural/earthy/nude look as my wig is not natural, earthy or nude in the slightest! I would definitely wear this for a cute little meal out one night to somewhere nice if I was to wear it somewhere once or twice but for something to keep, I don't think it's very me!

THANK YOU XO

CONVERSE

[Top - Primark (SALE £2)]
[Skirt - Primark (SALE £5)]
[Belt - Primark]
[Shoes - Converse - Schuh]
[Bag - Primark (SALE £1)]

Sorry for not posting as much as I should, working at Primark 5 days a week takes up more of my time than I thought. I can't moan though, they pay for my shopping addiction! Working there also has it's up's, especially when working on the returns desk as I get to see all the returns that have gone in the sale for me to get my mits on! I got a pair of gorgeous mules for £3 reduced from £14 but unfortunately they were too big and had to get rid of them. I have a photo of them on my instagram (annahodgson)

I've been wanting a pair of xx hi converse for so long but haven't had the spare £60 to get them from Schuh, so after traipsing depop and ebay for a few weeks I finally found some for only £27 almost brand new in box! So yeah I obviously snapped them up! Over half price for shoes that have been worn twice at most! I AM OVER THE MOON <3

I paired them with this white denim skirt from Primark. I was excited for these to go in the sale for £5 because in Topshop it's so much more expensive.. why pay? especially when every time you save you can get something else! The nude top I've also put with it I really love because it's slightly ribbed and looks really nice. It would also go with black jeans and would look fab! And finally the £1 bag from Primark, a 3 compartment snakeskin bag that can be worn as a clutch, a handbag and a shoulder bag! How amazing is that, talk about multi - use!
This outfit has some 70's twangs such as the skirt and the height of the shoes, not forgetting the snake skin! but with a new twist on it, possibly posh goth looking with the converse!

These shoes are as comfy as I ever thought and go with so much more than I imagined them too.  I can't wait to give them a proper go out and see what else they go with!!

PEACE XO

PROBABLY MORE T-SHIRT THAN DRESS....

[Top/Dress - Primark]
[Coatigan - The Ragged Preist]
[Sunglasses - Primark]
[Shoes - Topshop]
[Lipstick - Makeup Revolution]

Not much colour to this outfit other than my hair, I wanted to try a change with my style and try an outfit without colour. I think this top would look great with some white culottes or shorts, with maybe some vertical stripes on. I thought it would go fab also with my king kong coatigan from The Ragged Priest!

I like the fact its quite a greyscale outfit, until you get to my hair and get a woosh of colour which goes really well with they grey! Just shows that coloured hair can be more versatile than people initially think, you don't always have to be the worlds biggest colour palette!

I also have quite subtle makeup on with some DARK lippy which is great which the black coat to give a kind of gothy look. It could be called a stylish goth look but maybe not with the length of this dress..

I was also thinking that I could get wrapped up in this coatigan with a belt but enough so you could still see the top, I think that could be another way to wear it. Baring in mind I did get this top in a size 18 to make sure it would fit overlarge and something that I could maybe wear over a bikini and multi-use! Trying to get the most out of my clothes as usual!!

PEACE! XO

BOHO VIBES

[Top - H&M]
[Trousers - TKMAXX]
[Bag - Camden Market]
[Jacket - Primark]
[Sunglasses Primark]
[Lipstick - MUA]

I was feeling very boho for todays post, so I thought i'd drag my flares out and a nice little plain top. These flares I got from TKMAXX in Braunschweig in Germany for about €5 but they do also sell them in our TKMAXX for £5-£7 which I think is a great price even if you only get 4-5 wears out of them. They're high waisted and SUPER comfy I could sleep every night in them!
My top is from H&M and is just a casual basic cropped cami top, was about £3 last summer, it is a bit small for me now as i've put the most weight on but for photographs it did perfectly. I didn't really want a busy/patterned top as I have this gorgeous tassle sleeveless jacket thing which was only £3 from primark! (most of my wardrobe is as i work there!) The cream/white of the top contrasts with the black/grey of the bottoms which I really like and then to add a bit of colour I have my trust camden boho bag!
Ever in need of summer items, Camden is my place to go. I JUST LOVE! I am taking a trip there this weekend so I will try and so a short post about my time there and where I visit/what I buy! As everyone knows I will come back with a train full! but back to the bag.. It's so hard wearing and can carry a tonne, i'm sure it was about £3.99 I've never had a problem with it and i've had it for years!

I also have in these photos my favourite Topshop shoes which have been mentioned on a few posts now if you want to read more about them and how I wear them day-to-day!

PEACE XO

THE RAGGED PREIST FEAT. O MIGHTY

[Coatigan - The Ragged Preist]
[Top - O-Mighty]
[Jeans - Levi]
[Shoes - Topshop]
[Sunglasses - Boohoo.com]
[Septum Ring - Ebay]

Sorry again I haven't posted in a while I've been working all hours god sends to earn some money for my trip to London next weekend! I'm going to try and post as much as possible before London this week and then whilst i'm in London too.

For this outfit I wanted to show off my new coatigan from The Ragged Priest it's in the sale reduced from £90 to £30 which I thought was REALLY good and had too. (Mainly because I couldn't afford the Lovers and Drifters one as they're like £100+) This one is long too so it will be great for autumn/winter and is all snuggly! I paired with my "Just Fuck It" halter neck top from O - Mighty because I haven't found a time to wear it yet and I personally really love it! (also comes in black with white writing)

As my jacket was from The Ragged Priest I wanted my jeans to be as well but I couldn't get some in time for this styling so I had to make do with what I had. Using a pair of my old Levi jeans I picked up for £1 at a charity shop I got jiggy with the scissors and had a go myself, they should get better and fray a lot more every time they're washed, but for the first time wear I don't think they're too bad. The cutting didn't take long, I just googled what a pair looked like (even though I had a rough idea in my head I wanted to clarify) I wanted to fray the part at the top which looks like shorts a bit more but my fingers were hurting by this point because fraying jeans in all ways is time consuming and frustrating, especially when the washer can do it on its own!
How adorable are my new sunnies by the way? I LOVE them! £2 only from Boohoo.com and with all the postage deals they do, getting them to you can be super cheap! I was quite unsure about buying sunglasses that weren't black because sunglasses always look great in black but I took a chance and it paid off they actually go with my hair too which is a bonus.

And finally my lovely Topshop shoes.. Great amazing lovely shoes, BUT I had to get 2 sizes bigger than I usually am to fit in them. A size 8 was the only 1 that would fit me properly which I am very sad about but then again nobody can see the size when they're on your feet! Another thing is the fact the top band strap is not very comfy and puts a lot of stress on that part of the foot and makes it painful if you wear them for too long. I wore them for a night out and when I got home my feet felt bruised, like REALLY bruised. It doesn't stop me from wearing them though because I love them and when you've only paid £13.50 for them you can't really complain can you! (even though I kind of just have)

In conclusion though, this outfit may make it onto the 'take to London' list for the weekend! :)

Feel free to comment and hope you enjoyed reading my post

SHADE LONDON TENNIS DRESS.. SO 90'zzzz

[Dress - Shade London]
[Bag - Monki]
[Jacket - Afflecks]
[Shoes - YRU]
[Sunglasses - Primark]
[Necklace - Tatty Devine]
[Fishnet Socks - Primark]

I haven't had much time to post this week because of me getting a new (old) job and trying to sort out Germany as that's where I am going on Saturday! I thought I'd show off this dress again because I think is super cute! and very 90's sports! I've always really liked the stuff from Shade London but since I am a poor student was never able to afford anything from there, UNTIL my cute boyfriend bought me this for my 20th birthday!
Pairing this gorg dress with my now not so white YRU sandals and some cutie fishnet socks that match my jacket and hair was a fab decision, I feel so coordinated right now.
The sporty feel from this vintage bomber complimented the dress as it's quite hard to find something to go well with it especially because it's so summery and short, it's meant to be worn alone but today was too cold for that!
My bag was a huge bargain from MONKI in the sale for £10 got it around april time and think it's sold out now!

I do love this dress a lot, but it is quite see through, have to have some certain underwear (if any) to wear with it because the slightest pattern would show so bad underneath! So I would definitely either, if you're close to a 10 get the next size up or make sure you're at least a 6-8 to fit in the dress without it being see through!

Please excuse my awful colour hair in this post, I am trying at the moment to get it a nice subtle EVEN colour but as you can imagine its easier said than done! If you want to know more about my hair I have a previous post on what I used/how I did it!

Still in love with the ombrè lips though I used the purple shade from makeup revolution and the black shade from MUA both lipsticks £1 each and then used a brush to create an ombrè effect on the outside.

Thank you for reading my post! feel free to comment and don't forget to follow me on Instagram @annahodgson!
