NUDE

[Dress - TKMAXX - (SALE £3)]
[Bag - Primark - (SALE £1)]
[Shoes - PRIMARK - (SALE £3)]

So a full outfit for £7..  I think that pretty amazing really!
This dress from TKMAXX retailed at over £15 and was in their huge final clearance sale in my local store in Hull. The dropped hem also looks good lifted up with a belt and is gives such a smart/casual look great for both daytime and night time wear. The nude colour of the dress is also on trend at the moment which makes it all the better. I just love the fact you don't have to pay a lot of money to look nice! It's good really because at the moment I am SUPER skint (reason for all the not very colourful and out there posts)
I really liked this dress when I saw it because I thought for the price it would be great for some nice days out and the silky material hung really nicely! It also went goes with my hair which is good because a lot of formal things I buy to go with my hair either have to be a bold colour to contrast or black (maybe white but it makes me look fatter than I am so I think about it first) So sometimes it's tricky!

So if you are looking for a bargain at the moment TKMAXX have a lot of great unique stuff in and what I like about that shop is the fact that all the shops sell different things. I don't really rate their website as much as their store though! Especially for bargains. HAPPY SHOPPING XO

MONOCHROME

[Trousers - Topshop (SALE) £9]
[Shoes - Topshop (SALE) £15]
[Top - Primark £8]
[Bag - Primark (SALE) £1]

I grabbed these gorgeous cream faux leather culottes from Topshop last week for only £10 (well £9 thanks to NUS student discount) I was so blown away with how comfortable they are and are such generous sizes! These are a size 8 and fit like a glove. But then again I do always find Topshop sizing to be quite big on the majority of things, especially trousers! I don't think these photos show this top off at it's best because it's tucked in, it's meant to be a drape top but hangs awfully, not one of Primarks best to be honest!
These trousers could also go with a lovely big snug ribbed roll neck top/jumper ready for autumn winter and some gorg pointy boots! (just making myself skint in my brain of more things I can't afford to go with these trousers) They are quite something though and are very versatile so for £10 (or £9) then I would definitely recommend these for the transition between the seasons. Not so much the Primark top though!

GOING ALL NUDE

[Dress - Primark (£13)]
[Shoes - Primark SALE (£3)]
[Bag - Primark SALE (£1)]

Perks of working on the returns desk is being able to grab the returns before they go back on the shop floor at the reduced price (if they've gone in the sale) So these gorg mules were a right bargain at £3! Even though they were slightly too big, I had to have them for £3 it just had to be done. Also a perk is seeing what comes into the store every week/ seeing if there is anything new, like this lovely nude/beige dress. Even though I feel like I look like a bag of spuds in it, it would look lovely on a night out! It was also a little big so it had to go back. Also the material was a put off because it's ever so easily stained which are quite hard to get out so it's not my favourite but is a lovely style dress!

I thought I would do some posts with some outfits with toned down colour to show some versatility and that I'm not a one trick pony when it comes to outfits and styling! Having blue/green hair though sometimes makes it a struggle when you're trying to go for the natural/earthy/nude look as my wig is not natural, earthy or nude in the slightest! I would definitely wear this for a cute little meal out one night to somewhere nice if I was to wear it somewhere once or twice but for something to keep, I don't think it's very me!

CONVERSE

[Top - Primark (SALE £2)]
[Skirt - Primark (SALE £5)]
[Belt - Primark]
[Shoes - Converse - Schuh]
[Bag - Primark (SALE £1)]

Sorry for not posting as much as I should, working at Primark 5 days a week takes up more of my time than I thought. I can't moan though, they pay for my shopping addiction! Working there also has it's up's, especially when working on the returns desk as I get to see all the returns that have gone in the sale for me to get my mits on! I got a pair of gorgeous mules for £3 reduced from £14 but unfortunately they were too big and had to get rid of them. I have a photo of them on my instagram (annahodgson)

I've been wanting a pair of xx hi converse for so long but haven't had the spare £60 to get them from Schuh, so after traipsing depop and ebay for a few weeks I finally found some for only £27 almost brand new in box! So yeah I obviously snapped them up! Over half price for shoes that have been worn twice at most! I AM OVER THE MOON <3

I paired them with this white denim skirt from Primark. I was excited for these to go in the sale for £5 because in Topshop it's so much more expensive.. why pay? especially when every time you save you can get something else! The nude top I've also put with it I really love because it's slightly ribbed and looks really nice. It would also go with black jeans and would look fab! And finally the £1 bag from Primark, a 3 compartment snakeskin bag that can be worn as a clutch, a handbag and a shoulder bag! How amazing is that, talk about multi - use!
This outfit has some 70's twangs such as the skirt and the height of the shoes, not forgetting the snake skin! but with a new twist on it, possibly posh goth looking with the converse!

These shoes are as comfy as I ever thought and go with so much more than I imagined them too.  I can't wait to give them a proper go out and see what else they go with!!

THE GIRL WITH THE DRAGON EAR CUFF.. (AND A SPIDER WEB ONE TOO!)

Everyone knows my love for ear piercings, I have 10 in 1 ear and 2 in the other (uneven I know, just how I like it) I recently signed up to etail pr, and got onto some campaigns to do some more blogging as it's a lot easier when you can have other things than what you buy to blog about, and luckily Body Jewellery Shop kindly accepted me. After filling in a few details they sent me not only 1 but 2 of my chosen ear jewellery pieces. I chose these because I can wear them with my ear piercings I already have and having shopped on their website before it's great to be blogging for them!

I chose the Spider Web Wrap Ear Cuff and the Dragon Wrap Ear Cuff, these were my two favourite pieces from a long list and they look absolutely amazing on too!

So first I tried on the Spider Web Wrap Ear Cuff and it fit perfectly over my left ear, it also has a prong at the back that sits behind the ear which can be adjusted to make it fit comfortably and not wobble. This one fits on the left ear only due to its detail and shape which for me is great because it worked great with my piercings that are already there! It looks so pretty on and I've tried to show it in more than 1 angle to show how lovely this fits! It doesn't actually feel like I have anything extra on my ear which I really like because I won't unconsciously knock it off if I feel something odd.
The small gem in the middle shines so bright when it's on the ear and if it needed to be anymore noticeable (which it doesn't as it's already pretty visible, not everyday you walk about with a cobweb on your ear!) this does the job fab!

The next product they sent me was the Dragon Wrap Ear Cuff which was a surprise to find as I was only expected 1 as that's what it stated on the campaign but the more the better I am very grateful!
This one I didn't know how to wear especially with my ear full of piercings, because it doesn't cover as much ear as the cobweb cuff I didn't want it to clash. I have tested on both ears!
The metal this cuff is made out of is very malleable and can easily be moulded around the ear for comfort and stability! I particularly love the little claw/dragon hand that is also used to help the cuff stay on it works really well and I've seen this in a few ear cuffs on the internet. This cuff though has really good intricate detailing on the dragon itself which I think is great because even though it's a simple cuff it's just as intricate as the web!
Another great thing about the dragon cuff is that unlike the cobweb it works on both ears and can be worn upside down and the right way around, which means I can have something on both ears if I want too!! (even myself out)

I would definitely recommend the products I have reviewed from the Body Jewellery Shop and all the other products on there for that matter. I have had bad experiences with other jewellery websites and shops as some look cheap and tacky and also aren't as hard working as they should be, but the products from this company are a very high standard and at great prices! So from a knowledgable ear piercing lover then take it from me these products are as good as I say, just hope other piercing enthusiasts read this post and take a look at their amazing array of items!
Thanks again to Body Jewellery Shop for giving me the opportunity to blog for you and I hope we can work together in the future!

THANK YOU!

TIALS LIFE

[Crop Top -  TIALS ]
[Jeans - LEVI (VINTAGE)]
[Glasses - Primark]
[Hair - Bleach London]

Love my TIALS Crop top, the logo straps on the back make it such a great top. It literally goes with everything I own which is fab and it can be worn as/without a bra!! It goes so well with my make shift ragged priest jeans which I DIY'ed when I couldn't afford the real ones! My jeans were £1 from the charity shop and I did the cutting myself therefore I saved a lot of money on these as on the ragged priest website they're quite expensive for what they are.

I paired them together because they're quite rebel-like and against the norm, would have looked fab with a silver or gold chain (if i owned one) and some other statement jewellery then I could have pretended I was jenny from the block...
